A.W.A.R.E offers a variety of treatment modalities to meet the needs of a majority of chemically dependent women. The treatments include:
§ Short and long-term outpatient counseling
§ Intensive outpatient stabilization and counseling
§ Beprenorphine detox and or maintenance
§ Weekly medical check-in with clinical Medical Doctor
§ Treatment of mild to moderate mental health diagnosis thru both medication and counseling
§ Specialized women’s programs, which address dysfunctional relationships, parenting, spirituality, addictions education, life skills and relapse prevention. |
Just for Women
The Gender Responsive Treatment devised by the A.W.A.R.E. Counseling team has earned a reputation of providing excellent services to meet the needs of Baltimore County Women since 1991. Upon intake at A.W.A.R.E. clients are assessed utilizing several standard instruments the Addictions Severity Index (ASI) as well as the DSM-IV diagnostic interview always focusing on the ASAM Criteria when making decisions on what treatment will best meet the clients individual needs. |
Intensive Outpatient Program
AWARE offers an Intensive Outpatient Program. Treatment is 4 hours a day 4 days per week (Tuesday – Friday).
Outpatient Program
AWARE offers Outpatient Programs on Monday and Tuesday evenings. Clients attend treatment weekly and meet individually with a counselor biweekly at a mutually agreed upon time. |
