A.W.A.R.E. is a comprehensive, outpatient treatment center for women suffering from chemical dependency. A.W.A.R.E. is certified by the Sate of Maryland Alcohol and Drug Abuse Administration, and all clinical staff are either Licensed or Certified in substance abuse treatment or its equivalency. Staff is also trained in the areas of domestic violence and dual diagnosis.
A.W.A.R.E. offers a holistic treatment approach. Multiple modalities and a variety of treatment techniques are available to meet the diverse and individual needs of each client. Identifying clients individual strengths to promote positive behavioral and attitudinal changes as well as symptom reduction resulting in a healthier lifestyle are key to the A.W.A.R.E. treatment experience.
Services are provided weekdays from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. except Fridays which are 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
